Zetterqvist, August
August Zetterqvist (7 May 1860 Axberg – 7 January 1929 Götlunda), a Swedish and Estonian clergyman.
He attended school in Örebros, studied theology in 1882–90 in the University of Uppsala. He was ordained on 27 June 1890. In 1890–91 he acted as an assistant vicar in the congregation of Svärta (in the bishopric of Strängnäs), 1892–97 vicar of the Fogdö congregation (in the bishopric of Strängnäs) and in years 1897–1906 a vicar in the congregation of Vingåker and Ornö (in the bishopric of Stockholm). In years 1907–14 Zetterqvist served in Ruhnu St. Magdalene congregation being the first state Swede vicar in a hundred years. During his service and under his leadership, Ruhnu new church was completed. After leaving Ruhnu, he served as a vicar of the congregation of Götlunda in 1915–29. In 1924 he was inaugurated the knight of the Vaasa order. In 1928 he was elected dean.
